Update on Our Journey to Find Canadian Manufacturers

We've heard from many of you about the importance of Canadian-made products, and we’ve spent countless hours researching, reaching out to, and discussing possibilities with manufacturers across the country. The reality? A fully Canadian-made tote bag—including the garment itself—has a base cost of $60, and for clothing like hoodies or t-shirts, the cost climbs even higher. Imagine about final prices?

Right now, our products are designed and fulfilled in Canada, while the base apparel is ethically sourced from overseas to keep them affordable. But our search doesn’t stop here - we're still exploring options for Canadian cut-and-sew production for those who want to bring home as much Canadian craftsmanship as possible and are willing to pay a little more.

That said, we also received this thoughtful message from a customer that truly resonated with us:

"While I appreciate the effort to produce 100% Canadian, we do live in a global economy. Personally, I have no problem buying something that requires partial outsourcing. Why not support other nations that are ethically producing goods we need, especially when we can provide the value-added customization in our own economy? And the price point is, of course, critical.

The Canada First sentiment is very strong right now, but the target of our anger is the deliberate economic bullying from the U.S. We are not isolationists, but we do need to rely less on the erratic chaos south of the border and look more to other friendly economies around the world.

Your thoughtful outsourcing of parts of your business is a model for other manufacturers. The value-added designs you have created are delightful.

Thank you for so clearly explaining the issues that small businesses have to deal with in order to remain viable… and Canadian."

This journey is not just ours—it’s a conversation we’re having together, and we are so grateful for your support, your feedback, and your shared passion. Thank you for being part of this movement.
